Audette Racing CTCC pole and a win at GP3R

Leading the field flag to flag in the darkness

2011 is shaping up to be a great year for the Audette Racing team with success in both the F2000 championship with Remy Audette and in Canadian Touring Car with brother Mathieu Audette. Matt continued on his Toronto success with a 3rd and a 2nd to earn the pole and win race #1 at GP3R. The race was unique as it started late in the evening with very little light, finishing in complete darkness. Custom fitted HID projector headlights with the high beams blazing ensured excellent visibility of the track ahead and helped Matt lead flag to flag. Project Mu club racer pads coped well with the extreme braking demands of the GP3R circuit and provided the friction needed to brake deep while offering the modulation needed to prevent lockups. Race 2 was looking good as well with a 5 second lead when the K24 gave up and sent a failed rod through the block. The team now prepares for the Montreal NAPA 200 event and is set for another strong finish. The chassis development carried forward from the 2010 program has translated very well to the new series mandated Continental slick tire. Be sure to check the live timing available on the touringcar.ca website for all the action.

Glowing rotors are a regular occurence at the demanding GP3R circuit

Audette Racing earns Pole, 3rd and 1st place finishes, F2000 at Mosport

This year’s American Le Mans weekend at Mosport will certainly be remembered as a hot one. Thursday practice saw temperatures in the high 30′s feeling like 45 degrees C with the humidity factored in. However the heat was not an issue for the Audette Racing F2000 program and Remy’s off season training showed through, helping secure the pole in qualifying for race 1 on Friday.

The weekend wrapped up with a 3rd in race 1 and a big win in race #2 while also setting fastest lap. Heading into Lime Rock Remy holds a substantial points lead and everything is looking good to continue with the positive momentum gained at Mosport.

ANZE suspension sales and service

Auto Analyser is your source for Anze suspension Sales and Service in Canada

Auto Analyser has expanded our range of suspension offerings to include sales and service for ANZE dampers. ANZE offers a wide range of strut application dampers based on the highly successful Penske internals. We have had good success working with the ANZE product on the Audette Racing RSX and Durabond World Challenge Civic SI’s.

Details:

The ANZE Advantage!

Versatility and Superior Performance by Design

Why should

You

choose a custom built ANZE Suspension over the competition?

Main Piston Tuning:

Different main piston designs are available to help tune the system. While many dampers allow tuning of the main piston shim stack, most do not have multiple styles of piston available to help tune the damper characteristics.

ANZE

can do both. We have many different piston styles to choose from and all can be fine tuned by altering the shim stack.

Rebound adjustment:

ANZE

uses a precision needle and seat assembly that is flow optimized for linearity. From the beginning of the adjustment range to the end of the range the rate of change is always the same. By having a linear adjustment changes can be made in logical steps with predictable results.

Separation of Compression and Rebound Forces:

Most damper designs fail to produce accurate control as the shock transitions from one direction to the other. This lack of control at the damper is interpreted by the driver as a lack of confidence in the behavior of the car.

ANZE Suspension

is designed to maintain fluid control at the transition point by keeping compression forces separate from rebound forces. This design provides better driver feedback and more confidence in the behavior of the car.

Strut Bodies:

ANZE

strut bodies are manufactured from 4130 chrome-moly steel which provides very high cyclic fatigue resistance. The strut bodies are heat treated and stress relieved to a specific tolerance after all welding is complete. This ensures that one of the most heavily loaded components in the suspension will stand up to race track abuse lap after lap and season after season.

Strut Coating:

Most racing strut designs have some type of exterior corrosion protection. This ranges from basic paint to the plating found on nuts and bolts.

ANZE strut bodies are manufactured with our NiCarb coating inside and out. This provides corrosion protection to the exterior and also reduced wear, and friction in the interior, resulting in better performance. This is similar to hi-tech coatings used in racing engines. NiCarb

coating is an option for strut shafts as well.

Precision Machine Tolerance:

ANZE Suspension

components are machined to very fine tolerances. This precision tolerance provides less variation in parts size, producing higher performance and more consistency. Mass produced dampers often sacrifice precision and quality for speed of manufacturing and cost. This sacrifice in precision results in loss of repeatability and consistency in damper control.

ANZE

Suspension is scalable and upgradeable:

ANZE

products can be upgraded from single adjustable to double, triple, or 4-way adjustable.

Are you looking for basic adjustments to get started but want more later? No problem. All

ANZE Suspension

systems start with the same basic components and can be upgraded without throwing anything away or “moving up” the product ladder. (Note: upgrades require a damper rebuild)

PENSKE Racing Shocks is our technical supplier:

No shock absorber company enjoys the success PRS has in so many forms of racing for so long. For over 20 years championships have been won on Penske Racing Shocks in Formula 1, Indy Car, NASCAR, Touring Car, Sports Car, Short Track, Drag Racing, Motorcycle Racing and more. This is in no small part due to the performance, repeatability and consistency of PRS dampers, but especially because PRS dampers provide superior feel and feedback to the driver. This technical partnership allows

ANZE

to create the highest quality and best performing suspension systems for sports cars, sedans, and custom projects anywhere in the world.

ANZE Suspension

can take you from mid pack to front of the pack!

ANZE Suspension

is designed around your specifications and requirements, not a one size fits all philosophy. Your get what you want, not a compromise.

A fast car is not one that is quirky or difficult to drive. A fast car is comfortable and feels good underneath you. A fast car communicates with the driver. Confidence in the car results in quicker lap times.

Quality:

All

ANZE Suspension components are built to the same level of quality. ANZE

dampers are built to suit your requirements not those of the marketing department.

ANZE Suspension

uses the same piston assembly for every level of adjustment. The same core components that are used in a single adjustable are also used in double and triple adjustable.

Round 3 takes place July 10th at Mosport International Raceway. If you’ve never competed at this track I strongly encourage you partake in the available school on July 9th. This is a high risk course and must be treated with respect, especially if you are competing in a road going car with minimal safety gear. As always rollover protection, 6 point harnesses and Hans devices are encouraged.
